Biki-ka-Muqbara

Route :10 km from aurangabad

This is called mini taj mahal. But the meaning sense its mightier than Taj mahal for its built in memory of his mother. Aurangazeb's first son built this monument(if i am right)..surrounded by gardens..

..as i went alone..i am roamin here and there..to be back in time! :)

After the ajanta trip..i was destined to go this fort ..wonderful one..in its history none of its invaders cld take this fort completely such is the place!!..trenches,multiple routes,a mountain carved out..dungeons ..very good place

Ellora!

Route :Ellora is quite close to aurangabad

MARK OF ELLORA:There are three parts..jain temples,hindu temples and buddhist temples! all together in single!that shows the unity and kinda of maturity those ppl showed..that the mark to the place!

After the essence of ajanta it was time for ellora 26-1-2006 ..i had taken a indian tourism bus..so it wasnt hard for me..there were nearly 7 places that we had to visit on the same day..i am posting in different articles as to differentiate its beauty!

There is distinct difference between ajanta and ellora caves..there is lot more painting in ajanta..ellora is more the awesome built!..kailash temple in itself is worth watchin ..to go any part of the world for its beauty!..

Trip to ajanta caves-23-1-2006

ROUTE TO AJANTA CAVES: AURANGABAD IS THE NEAREST BIG CITY.BUT STRAIGHT TRAIN WE DONT HAVE .TAKE TRAIN TO JALGON .FROM JALGON -AURANGABAD IS 2 TO 3 HRS JOURNEY.THING IS THIS BUS WILL PASS THROUGH AJANTA.IF CAN PLAN TO (EITHER) REACH JALGON VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING GET DOWN AT AJANTA CAVES,YOU WILL HAVE SOME ACCOMODATION THERE (OR)GO TO AURANGABAD THEN RETURN BACK TO AJANTA.





My paper "Blink of eye for brain to machine applications " got selected to aurangabad national conference..just after winning the confederation of Indian industry award..what a start to the year!!..off i went to the conference hoping that i cld go these places..that too all alone!!..that too very hindi ..hahaha :)..

conference went on well..i had booked indian tourism bus..so we went to the place..bus journey..then shuttle journey!!haha..pollution free vehicle!..then climbed somethin to this place..

FIRST LOOK: what on the earth!!!!..so many caves..oh i thought it was only one cave na??!!!..so many something around 27 caves..in a stretch of 2 kms over mountain over looking a river..which is bending around a mountain...what on earth!!..a paradise..a paradise!!!

..cave afer..after cave..painting remaining for over thousand years!!..just amazing..i have so many pics..on this trip..next day..ellora!

ROUTE:FROM CHENNAI 180 KM

I would start this blog in a spiritual way!.These were one of my journeys for the search for truth.Its 180 kms from chennai.I went in my bike ,a long drive ..to this temple which i consider very spiritual..

On the way..u have sen'chi fort..about 120 kms from chennai..

ABout 60 kms frm chennai.i found this beautiful big lord shiva statue..

The ashrams surrounding are excellent.
